Because of the diligent work and support of the Band Boosters, the band program was able to purchase some high quality equipment for band students.
The band does a lot of fundraising throughout the year. Where does that money go?
The Band Boosters provide financial support for a wide variety of items and activities for all SMNW bands. Significant areas of support include the following:

- Music festival/competition entry fees
- Marching band drill design fees
- New instruments and related equipment
- Instrument repairs
- Sheet music
- Percussion staff
- Clinician fees
- Meals, food, and water for bands when at festivals and competitions
- Marching band and pep band t-shirts
- Uniform cleaning and repairs
- Drum major camp
- Light show supplies
- Senior banquet and recognition
- Plus many other smaller items and expenses
