Band Booster Volunteers Needed

 

Current volunteer opportunities
Buttons	During Band Camp	Help take photos and make buttons during band camp
Uniform	Early in school year - prior to first performance	Help with uniform check out and check in. Looking for people with sewing skills to help with minor alterations (mostly machine stitch hemming.)For more information contact Christine Tarne
Balloons	Home football games and marching band performances	Help air up balloons, transport and distribute to the marching band events.
Band Camp Cookout	Last day of band camp (evening performance)	Assist in the cookout as needed.  Contact Jennifer Williams wjacrwilliams@aol.com  or Betsy Masters squeal@everestkc.net if you would like to volunteer
Bus Riders	On Performance Days	Need volunteers to ride the buses with the students to marching band events including football games.  Contact Sue Riggs sr4summer@yahoo.com or Kristi McCluskey kristim@everestkc.net  if you would like to volunteer
Truck drivers	On Performance Days	Contact Mr. Haney (nwhaney@smsd.org) if you can assist by driving a truck (containing instruments)  to and from performances.
Merchandising	Back to School Night, Football and Basketball games	Sell spirit wear and other related school items at back to school night and possibly football games.
Concessions	Football and Basketball games	Help at football or basketball concession stand
Chili Supper	Event is in February	Help serve chili, set up and clean up. This event is usually in February.  Contact Kathy Bures  tpe5bures@everestkc.net if you can help.
Auction	Event is in February	Held during the chili supper-volunteers will be needed to solicit donations and facilitate with the auction during the supper.
Senior Banquet	Senior Banquet in May	Help set up, decorate and plan the senior banquet .
Senior Recognition	Senior Night (at a football game TBA)
